The Bottom Cabin, part of Hayes Northern Lights Lodge, is located within easy walking distance of the river, making it an ideal home base for Alaska adventure tours, fishing, wildlife viewing, and time spent outdoors. This cabin sleeps six to eight guests and offers a comfortable, welcoming space for families or small groups, making it perfect for those attending the Northern Lights Youth Expedition or an Alaska youth camp.
Inside, the Bottom Cabin features a cozy main living area with two couches, along with a simple kitchen and gathering space. Upstairs, the loft sleeping area includes six beds, providing flexible accommodations for groups traveling together. Guests have access to an indoor hot shower and a nearby outhouse, consistent with the lodge’s off-grid setting.
Like all accommodations at Hayes Northern Lights Lodge, the Bottom Cabin is designed for guests who appreciate practicality, warmth, and connection to the surrounding landscape. The bottom cabin can be booked for $250/night for two people for a minimum of three nights. Each additional guest is $50/night.
